By purchasing RunningWP, you agree to the refund terms outlined below. RunningWP is a digital service that provides instant access to WordPress website creation, hosting environments, templates, demo content, plugins, themes, and related platform features.
Because access begins immediately after purchase, refunds are only available under the conditions described in this policy.
Refund Policy Summary
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the initial purchase.
- You must contact our support team and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue before requesting a refund.
- Refunds are not provided after significant use of the platform.
- Refunds are not provided once websites, templates, plugins, themes, demo products, or hosted environments have been actively used in a meaningful way.
- Domain purchases, renewals, third-party services, and other non-reversible items are non-refundable.
- This policy applies to all users equally.
Eligibility for a Refund
You may be eligible for a refund only if all of the following conditions are met:
- Your refund request must be submitted within 7 days of your first purchase.
- You contacted RunningWP support and allowed us a fair opportunity to resolve the issue.
- You experienced a technical issue with RunningWP that we were unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.
- You have not made significant use of the platform, including creating, keeping, exporting, migrating, or using multiple WordPress websites.
When Refunds Are Not Granted
Refund requests may be denied in the following cases.
Requests Outside the Refund Window
Refund requests submitted after the 7-day refund period are not eligible. This refund window is strictly enforced regardless of usage, account activity, or personal circumstances.
Significant Product Usage
Refunds are not available if the platform has been substantially used.
Significant usage may include, but is not limited to:
- Creating multiple WordPress websites
- Using no-expiry websites
- Using templates to build or customize websites
- Using pre-installed plugins or themes
- Using WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads demo products
- Sharing live website URLs with clients or third parties
- Using the platform for client work, testing, demos, or production preparation
- Exporting, migrating, copying, or transferring website content
- Consuming a substantial portion of plan limits, storage, or available resources
Once RunningWP has delivered the core value of the service, refunds are not intended for cases where the product has been successfully used.
Website Creation, Hosting, or Delivery Completion
RunningWP provides instant WordPress website creation and hosted website environments. Once a website has been created and made available for use, the service has begun delivering value.
Refunds may be denied if you created and used websites, kept websites active, customized templates, tested plugins, configured themes, or otherwise used the service as intended.
Lack of Familiarity With WordPress
Refunds are not provided because of unfamiliarity with WordPress, plugins, themes, WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, Elementor, or general website-building concepts.
RunningWP is designed to simplify WordPress website creation, but users are still responsible for learning and using WordPress-related tools, themes, plugins, and content editors.
Personal Preference or Misaligned Expectations
Refunds are not granted for personal preference, change of mind, or expectations that are not part of RunningWP’s documented features.
Examples include:
- You expected a different design style
- You changed your mind after purchasing
- You no longer need the service
- You purchased the wrong plan
- You expected custom development, design, or content creation services
- You expected third-party plugins or themes to work differently
Buyer’s Remorse
Refunds are not provided for buyer’s remorse after purchase when RunningWP is functioning as described.
Please review the available features, plan details, pricing, and limitations before purchasing.
Third-Party Products and Services
RunningWP may integrate with or support third-party tools, plugins, themes, ecommerce platforms, payment gateways, or external services. Refunds are not provided for issues caused by third-party products or services outside RunningWP’s control.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- WordPress plugin conflicts
- Theme issues
- WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads limitations
- Payment gateway issues
- Third-party API outages
- External DNS or domain problems
- User-installed plugins or code
Domains and Non-Refundable Items
Domain purchases, renewals, transfers, and other third-party purchases are non-refundable.
These services are often processed immediately by external providers and cannot be reversed once completed.
Other non-refundable items may include:
- Add-on storage
- Custom domains
- One-time setup services
- Custom development
- Priority support fees
- Migration or export-related services
- Any service already completed or delivered
Subscriptions and Renewals
RunningWP subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before renewal if you do not wish to continue using the service.
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund previous payments.
Account Cancellation
You may cancel your account or subscription at any time. After cancellation, your access to paid features may continue until the end of your billing period, depending on your plan.
RunningWP is not responsible for preserving websites, files, content, demo products, settings, or hosted environments after cancellation, expiration, or account removal.
Before canceling, make sure to export or save anything you need.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have an issue with your purchase, please contact RunningWP support before opening a chargeback or payment dispute.
Most billing or technical concerns can be resolved faster by contacting support directly.
If a chargeback or dispute is opened, your account access may be suspended while the issue is reviewed.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact RunningWP support within 7 days of your initial purchase and include:
- The email address used for the purchase
- Your order ID or invoice number, if available
- A clear explanation of the issue
- Any screenshots, error messages, or details that may help us investigate
We will review your request and determine whether it qualifies under this policy.
Final Decision
RunningWP reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests based on this policy, account activity, platform usage, and the details of the request.
Refunds, when approved, will usually be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
